Inserted in the Aire and Candeeiros Mountains natural park we can find the beautiful and historic city of Torres Novas. Torres Novas is a city where there was a strong Roman presence, of which the ruins of "Vila Cardilium" are an example. This city is also associated to the beginning of the Portuguese nation, being one of the first cities conquered by king D.Sancho I to the Arabs in 1190.O. The Torres Novas castle is considered the city's ex-libris, and is classified as a national monument that represents well this medieval presence. Located one hour away from the capital, Lisbon, it is part of the Fátima-Torres Novas-Tomar axis, an area marked by gastronomy, history, culture and of course religion, which has the sanctuary of Fátima as its maximum exponent. It is in this context that we find this magnificent palace, which used to be a convent of the Holy Spirit that closed at the end of the 18th century. Located in the central area of Torres Novas, close to all kinds of services, shops and public and private equipment, it was totally recovered and rehabilitated.
