Also, the forestry, geological, zoological and floristic reservation Tişiţa is a protected wild area that measures not less than 5400 hectares. It includes secular forests on the Tisaru Massif and the Tişiţa Gorges. The flora and fauna are spectacular comprising many endemic and rare species: black goats, bears, deer and stag.
